OOOOOOOKAY!!! SO! I've decided that October is the bestest month ever! Oh wait....I already decided that when I was like 16....WELL, it's STILL the bestest month ever! SO! 1st of all, Sunday conference was awesome and all of the talks were simply amazing! I loved them! And it was so cool because one of my favorite quotes was recited, "To pray 'intently' means to truly INTEND to act on the answer you receive." and it's so cool because we've been able to relate that to all of our investigators and less actives. We always here the words, "pray with a sincere heart and real intent" But if we're not willing to do whatever the Lord asks of us, he's not gonna tell us what to do! SO, no matter WHAT the answer is or what the instruction is, as long as we trust in the Lord and are willing to do whatever he asks, we will always receive an answer to our prayers!
Also, I gave the craziest tram tour of my LIFE yesterday! SO, they changed the tram system this transfer and so me and my companion gave 6 tours back to back instead of waiting for 20 minutes inbetween and inviting people to come on the tram. And boy was it exhausting! And then the last tram had so many people (over 35) that we had to take 2 trams so me and Sis. Christensen split up! Fact: Being split up from someone you've been pretty much RIGHT next to 24/7 for 7 weeks is SUPER weird. Fact: Having to give the ENTIRE tram tour by YOURSELF after only 7 weeks is TERRIFYING! But! I did it, AND when we got to the temple I gave them all an option to go inside the Visitor's Center for a tour or to follow me for a grounds tour. Yeah, I had a mob of about 40 people following me around the house of the Lord, listening intently as I explained what the temple was for and about the different sculptures and carvings all along the temple. And then having like each family ask a question or two and everyone paying attention to what I said to THOSE questions, oh man, it was SO legit! And all the sisters afterward were like, "OH MY GOSH! Like the WHOLE tram followed you!" And I'm just like, "yup!" Oh man, so cool!
So this month me and Sis. Christensen are raising EVERYTHING to the next level, we've had goals in the past and have JUST fallen short of them but this month we're not accepting anything less than our goals! And we're doing whatever it takes to get there. We're working towards truly being exactly obedient, everything from making the beds, to being EXACTLY on time for everything, even study time. And what's cool is that we've been PROMISED that if we're exactly obedient and we work our butts off we'll be able to reach our goals. And if we reach our goals, we've been promised that we'll reach our goal of baptisms. SO! Bottom line: Be exactly obedient and do whatever the Lord asks of you=blessings :) Work hard! Pray always!
love,
Sister Bradley
