ASK THE MISSIONARIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOMEN CAN SERVE MISSIONS AT 19 NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND GUYS CAN BE 18!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......weird....

I'm officially the last generation of women who had to wait until they were 21 to go on a mission..............weird............and not gonna lie I'm kinda like, "WHAT?! NO FAIR!!!" But on the OTHER hand I'm like "OOOOH MY GOODNESS THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I give it 6 months before we have out 1st 19 yr old sister.....I'm pretty sure my excitement can not be expressed in words.......AND can I just point out how EPIC the morning session was??? Oh my goodness it was SO good! Russel M. Nelson's talk? Eh? Eh? EEEEEEHHH???!?!?!?!?! How EPIC was that! ASK THE MISSIONARIES!!!!! Ok, so I have to paint a picture for y'all: SO, in the Visitors' Center we have a theatre where people can watch church movies, so we used it today to broadcast general conference live at 6am (why yes, yes I DO hate time changes..anyhoo) so picture 22 sisters all huddled up in blankets and 8 elders all shouting and screaming and cheering in the theatre,
" ASK THE MISSIONARIES!!!!!"every time he said it.
.....yeah...we were hysterical...and then in the BEGINNING when he announced the changes in ages for missionaries (Something that has not changed in over FIFTY YEARS) we were TOTALLY beside ourselves with excitement, we were all like, "what...what's he saying?....oh man, he's gonna say it...he's gonna say it...I can feel it...."young men can serve after high school at the age of 18 and women at 19"....AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Yeah.............maybe it was a good thing none of us brought investigators with us..............hahahahahahaha

So ANYHOO, I would just like to let the WORLD and my family and friends know to ASK THE MISSIONARIES for help! And I am SO stoked for the 1st generation of young missionaries we'll be getting!!!! And Conference today was just INCREDIBLE the talks were simply amazing and so to the heart and just wonderful!!!!

OK so back to the normal e-mail stuff

THIS WEEK WAS TRANSFER WEEK!!!!
hnce the delayed e-mail because we haven't had a P-day in 8 days, which doesn't seem THAT bad, but oh man, we were dying. SO we got new sisters!!!!! FOUR!!! One from Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and Alaska!! They're all so sweet and nice! And what's crazy is THEY will be the sisters I'll be spending the rest of my mission with...........weird.......and it was SO weird saying goodbye to the other sisters. Here in Hawaii we sing Aloha Oe and give them all leis and all this other stuff and it's super depressing (especially since Aloha Oe was written by the Queen of Hawaii before her country was taken over by America....) But anyhoo this week's been totally crazy getting everyone moved around and settled in but oh my goodness we were so blessed because we kept all 3 of our wards even though the other sisters had at least 1 change. We REALLY hope that these next 6 weeks will REALLY be  turn around for the ward. We're praying so hard for all of these less actives in our local ward and we're JUST starting to finally get to know our single's ward and are planning this HUGE activity for them for Halloween where hopefully the nonmembers in the ward will want to come (fact: I LOVE Halloween...like, more than any other holiday, so this is not just gonna be a regular party for them....no no no no no, it's an epic murder mystery/relay race/book of mormon story all in one! I'll go into more details later on in the month ) So ANYHOO, needless to say it was a miracle we kept our wards and to top it off I JUST finally got in contact with one of the less actives in the ward and GUESS where she grew up? Why, OKINAWA of course! And she's HAWAIIAN, so she speaks ENGLISH!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So anyhoo this week has been crazy and weird and awesome all in one and now we're just totally stoked for tomorrow's 2nd 1/2 of conference! Granted, not looking forward to getting up at 5am, BUT I'm still stoked! Well I hope everyone's still doing awesome and again, any and all halloween candy/stickers contributions you want to sent me will be MORE than welcome  Work hard! Pray always!

love,
Sis. Bradley
