SO, basically this has just been an awesome-packed week of teaching and chatting and meeting some WAY awesome people!

All week has been the 50th anniversary of the Polynesian Culture Center so there's been TONS of activities going on. Granted, we weren't a part of any of them, nor could we go, but it LOOKED like a lot of fun haha. (It's mainly just been a bunch of old-timers re-living the glory days of the PCC in the 70's....fun stuff!)

But on Saturday they had a PCC parade and WE got to be in it! It was awesome! And nothing quite beats riding in a tram at an awkward 3 miles an hour, passing by all the less actives and nonmembers you've been trying to set up times to teach, while belting "Called to Serve" 30 billion times during the 1 mile route of a small-town parade..........it was really great ^_^ hahahaha

Plus we got to see Poly-Santa, and Poly-Avengers and lots of other cool things! You know you're a VC sister when you give a tram ride for Batman, Spiderman, the Hulk, Santa, and various other famous people haha

ALSO, Elder Russel M. Nelson was at the end of the parade! So we were all singing "We Thank Thee Oh God For a Prophet" as loud as we could while waving furiously at Elder Nelson who was trying to eat a sandwich......hahaha I don't think he knew we were missionaries until the last moment when we were about to turn the corner and he started waving to us haha

THEN, on Sunday we were able to go to the CES fireside and I was only 15ft away from him! It was pretty cool :)

FACT: I love being online, it's SO much fun talking to people all over the world.

FACT: I don't know what it is about Colorado and New Jersey but we've gotten SO many elect people from there! So whatever those missionaries are doing, I hope they keep doing it!

FACT: The Book of Mormon is SO true! I just can't imagine a bunch of 19th century scholars joining together in a small farm town to make-up this book and then credit it to a 21 yr old un-educated farm boy and have it be able to touch the hearts and change the lives of MILLIONS of people ALL over the world, with different backgrounds, cultures, traditions, beliefs, ALL during different eras of time. And having them ALL believe the SAME thing and feel the SAME spirit and have a testimony of the SAME doctrine, nothing wavering....it's just impossible! It has to be the word of God. It has to be what it claims to be! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true :)
