BIRTHDAY WEEK!!!!!

FACT: THE VC IS GOING DOWN!

FACT: It's going down because like 10 sisters (including myself) got sick this past week, and when some of those sisters are in different companion ships, it added up to about 13 companionships of sisters! So it was INSANE trying to switch shifts around and cover for everyone! BUT all is well because I made a deal with God and I'm not aloud to stay sick this week because it's my birthday and we have big plans :)

So it was really fun because on Friday I played Florence Nightingale for 5 sisters cuz they were all sick and they all need to be with a companion so I wiped forheads, checked temperatures, and took a nap too ;) It was fun! It was Sister Annen, Knudsen, Mason, Fong and Moyes and I, it was funny because we'd all tell stories and we'd laugh then we'd just be like, "HAHAHAHA..oh oh my head, my head...HAHAHAHAH oooh oooh my head." "YEAH! *cough *cough I REMEBER THAT! *cough *cough" hahahaha fun times

ALSO, we recreated a baptismal record for a kid in our ward and so it counted as a convert baptism and so we were able to contribute 2 baptisms to our Vision 200 :) OH! And so our high water mark was 166, and our goal was 200 and as far as I know we got about 180 or so!!!!! So YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE BEAT OUR HIGH WATER MARK! SO cool!!

AND the new mission president has landed! He seems pretty cool! We said our last goodbyes to President Dalton on Saturday :( but we'll see our new mission president on Saturday (my birthday!)

So, due to our worthless, slothful state for the past 4 days, not much happened this week. BUT, I'm doing my best to apply the phrase, "If that's what the brethren want to do, we support the brethren." it's SO hard to follow direction, or new rules and guidelines, or just different ways of doing things and different instruction, but I'm really trying to learn that it's not my leaders' ideas. It's the Lord's, and it's not my leaders' new rules, it's the Lord's. Even if it IS a bad idea, whatever their idea is. I'll be blessed for following, because that's what the Lord's commanded us to do.
