FACT: MY DISTRICT LEADER WAS ON NATIONAL TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FACT: you can see it again at this website: https://www.lds.org/training/wwlt/2013/hastening/special-broadcast?lang=engSO, who watched the broadcast? Anyone? Anyone? Oh my goodness it was INCREDIBLE!!!!! It was SO cool to see all the missionaries on the stand! There are 70,000 of us!!!! AH! Missionaries are so cool! I LOVED watching all the videos and clips and seeing the links from ward members and their efforts in sharing the gospel and seeing where that leads! SO cool! I REALLY hope it inspired everyone to take those difficult steps back to church or to share their testimony with a friend and then REFER that friend to the missionaries!!!! :D :D
Na'ili got BAPTIZED!!!!!!!!!! AH! Seriously, she shows more faith than anyone I know! She's such an incredible woman! You know that "change" that people say you make when you're baptized, I understood it, but then again I was like, eeeehh, but seriously, you CHANGE wen you're baptized! You CHANGE when you're completely washed clean of every sin you've ever made and covenant with God you'll keep His commandments. And it's the most beautiful change I've ever seen. And it was SO interesting because, as missionaries and representatives of Jesus Christ, we promised her special blessings from her taking this leap of faith and just last night she called us and told us all the amazing things that happened in the last 2 days and I sat there and was like, "oh wow! That's SO amazing! I'm SO happy for you!" But then my companion, Sister Moyes, reminded me that we TOLD her that would happen, we promised it to her, cuz we're His representatives and so we shouldn't be shocked when Heavenly Father keeps his end of a promise. It just hit me so hard when she said that. Because it really hit home that WE, missionaries, really do represent Jesus Christ, and so when we promise blessings for keeping commandments, it is as though Jesus Christ himself is promising them those blessings! So cool.
Other awesome incidents happening this week include the KODAK machine coming back to Foodland so we can FINALLY print pictures! YAY!!!!
Other awesome facts:
Fact 1: My birthday is in 10 days
Fact 2: I'm turning 22 and for those of you who don't know, my favorite number is 2....and there's 2 2's in 22.........:D :D
Fact 3: You all are MORE than welcome to send as much cool stickers and candy (not chocolate...I don't like chocolate...most of the time) as you want, it will definitely make my day!
Fact 4: Our mission has goal of 200 baptisms for the the month of June and we're SO close, but the highest the mission has EVER seen in 160 yrs was what WE hit in December 2012 with 166. So TWO hundred is quite the stretch, I REALLY hope we can do ti!
Fact 5: As of today I'm 11 months old and therefore have 6 months and a week left on my mission....no I'm not trunkie but it's REALLY hard not to count when EVERY member who comes in the Visitors' Center asks you over and over until you confess how old you are and then they ask your dying date and then do the math FOR you and tell you how much longer you have...-_-.....and THEN proceeds to tell you you'd be a PERFECT match for their son......*facepalm...Thanks a lot people....-_-
Anyhoo, I love you all so much and I hope you're having a great week! WOrk hard! Pray always! Love ya!
Sister Bradley
