HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

Fact: It's Mother's day in 4 days......why yes, yes I am weirded out that the time has gone by so fast.....

Fact: I am officially glad that we can't skype our families because then I don't have to worry about showing my family up close and personal how much rice and shoyu chicken and poi has stuck to my body for the past 9 months :P

Fact: We had an AWESOME week!

SO for starters we spent the whole day in Honolulu today in the car shop for the follow up on the accident and then the doctor's office but everything's fine and we're all peachy, but because of that, I have no time to talk.....so I'll try to be quick

So a few days ago we went by this lady's house (she shall remain nameless) who's a STRONG Catholic, not ROMAN Catholic, in that sort of way, but she's VERY argumentative and she's made sister missionaries cry and President has even put her on a don't visit list at certain times. But then there's me, ya know, I've been yelled at by old people since I was 15 so she doesn't really intimidate me. Does it make me sad when she calls 14yr old Joseph Smith a.....lot of very crude words, yes, but give me a break, I've had worse.

So anyhoo, after our 1 horrible encounter with her we called her and once we played by her rules she was very cordial and we were invited inside her very tiny house which is needless to say.....dirty, (mom, remember that lady's house we went to when I was like 13 or so and you took her to the laundro-mat and I came with? Yeah, her house is like that, but no baby) So it's interesting because we read 2 Nephi 2 to her and she agreed with everything, but then she said that even the devil's bok sometimes agrees with the accepted scripture......hahahaha

SO anyhoo, bottom line is....I've learned more about Charity. I really feel like if we LOVE her, and SERVE her, she might get baptized. I think she already knows the church is true but is terrified of letting go the ONLY thing she has to hold on to, the only thing that "defines" her, I mean she's "2 years from 80" and she's no kids, no family, no friends, and right now, her being Catholic is what she's got, but I KNOW that charity can soften the HARDEST hearts and I think she might get baptized :D We'll see

Also, good news! Frederick's baptism has been moved up to Saturday because they were like, "why wait!' SO he's getting baptized in 3 days! YYYYAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Man, I BETTER get pictures!

Also, I had this SUPER amazing experience with this basher guy at the VC and I HAVE to tell y'all about it but I've totally gotta go, so remind me! yeah? yeah. Ok, LOVE YOU! Work hard! Pray always!
