15 Million and Counting...

GENERAL CONFERENCE WAS SO AMAZING!!!!!!

I was pretty much wired 48 hours prior to the long awaited 6am broadcast of General Conference on Saturday. I was SO excited! You'd think I was meeting Brad Pitt or something. I've decided I ALWAYS want to be that excited for General Conference though. I mean, I'm listening to the PROPHET speak and the TWELVE APOSTLES!!! It's literally like I'm watching Peter, James, and John LIVE! These are REAL seers and revelators and you don't even have to "interpret" what they're saying to you. Or discern feelings and promptings. They just say it. Right there. Bold and simple and give you the EXACT answers to the questions you've been praying about and advice, guidance, warnings, encouragement and so much more!

Seriously, if you haven't watched ALL of it. I recommend it. Because what if the one talk you don't watch has the information you've been looking for?!

My favorite talks were pretty much all in the 1st session on Saturday. With Robert D. Hales telling us to sustain our leaders and the they really do speak on behalf of God and to follow the prophet despite our own opinions and theories; Elder Bednar talking about how the Lord's answers prayers in HIS own time and way, and Dieter F. Uchtdorf giving every reason under the sun to have EVERYONE "come, join with us" it just made my day!

I also LOVED Bonnie Oscarson on Sunday. She talked all about how we gain testimonies by keeping the commandments, going to church, reading scriptures, and praying. How watching general conference on TV will not give us a testimony anymore than watching basketball on TV will make us a great basketball player. But we need to work and exercise faith. It's almost like faking it til you make it. You may not KNOW the church is true (yet) but if you do everything a person who DOES know it's true does, then you will receive MANY blessings, promptings, and guidance needed to gain your own testimony! SO AWESOME!

In other news, we've found 2 Cane Spiders in our pad this week......it was fun finding a spider that's the size of your hand.....no we didn't take pictures, we decided to kill it before it ran away instead.

Also in other news we have transfers this Wednesday! I'm getting a new companion, her name is Sister Ly! She's from Utah but is assigned Cantonese speaking. Should be fun! She's only been out 3 transfers and I'm down to 2 left.....weird.......Oh! And I failed to mention who my last companion was, her name is Sister Kim! She came out a week after me (she was delayed in the MTC because she was assigned Korean-speaking so they thought she couldn't speak English....."Where...are....you....from?!" "........LA....?" hahahahahaha) She's already graduated BYUI with a Bachelor's in English and when she goes home she's gonna go to Law School ^_^

But anyhoo, new transfer, and it's the HALLOWEEN TRANSFER!!!!!!!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!! My FAVORITE holiday! Now, again, if ANYONE feels the need to mail candy, stickers or any other fun awesome items, I completely support you and offer up my mailbox to your generosity ^_^

I hope everyone's doing awesome! Work hard! Pray always! LOVE YA!

Sister Bradley
P.S. I pretty much like all candy except anything lemon, dark chocolate, and with nuts ^_^

Pics (hopefully they all loaded): A bunch of us at breakfast after conference, us and our district with lots of other people photo bombing it...me and Christ ^_^ ; me at my my area (usually I'm NOT in a pencil skirt and blouse though, it was conference so I dressed up) and then me and my companion Sister Kim! We're hoping we'll get to kill each other our last transfer ^_^
