So Happy Together!

Transfer News!!! 

It's official, I'm staying with Sister Moyes! This is the first time I've EVER stayed in the SAME wards, with the SAME companion, in the SAME pad for 2 transfers other than my trainer! So crazy! I can't believe it! We've decided we're gonna blow La'ie 3rd out of the water and work crazy hard this transfer.

ALSO, my family is staying together! My sister is still training my niece and my baby is still training my grandbaby! So non of this step-mom/half-grandma/kinda aunty nonsense. Everyone's staying together! CHEEEEHOOO!!!!!

So this week was really up and down crazy but we saw a lot of miracles! People are FINALLY vacationing again so we've had LOTS of people at the Visitors' Center and on our tram tours! We've given away SO many Chinese Book of Mormons because of all the Chinese students doing a week long tour of BYUH. It's been awesome! And FINALLY after 2 weeks of the temple being closed for cleaning it's open again! 

It has been SO sad these past 2 weeks turning away so many people who wanted to go to the temple! Which brings me to my next miracle...NA'ILI GOT HER TEMPLE RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHEEEHOOO!!! So she'll be doing baptisms for the dead soon!! We're so excited for her! Seriously, despite all the crazy trials she's going through right now she has SUCH strong Faith in Jesus Christ and she's conquering with world with the Holy Ghost at her side! She's truly the most amazing person I've ever met!

Also, on Friday for tram we had the coolest experience giving a tour to this boyfriend and girlfriend from Missouri, he's living in HI at the Marine base for the moment and she's thinking about coming out here for school. It was awesome because we taught them about the Gift of the Holy Ghost and the difference it makes in our lives and we taught them about how it comforts us and guides us and she asked if it will help with his anger management problems and we're like, "Yup! Sure will!" So they took 2 Book of Mormons and we committed them for baptism! It was SO cool! They were just YEARNING for the gospel! I can't wait to see how reading the Book of Mormon goes or them!

ALSO we had these 2 women come in the Visitors' Center from the base and both their husbands were deployed, one til October (in Australia) and one til December (in Okinawa). And Sister Eaton and I taught them about the Book of Mormon and how it has so much power as to give us strength by just reading it and learning more about Christ and one of them said, "Well, I could sure use some strength!" SO incredible!

I LOVE the Book of Mormon. I love how even when I'm REALLY mad I can just pick it up, read it, and just be washed over with a feeling of calm and peace. I love how there's a scripture for EVERYTHING. Just how there's an App for that, there's a scripture for that. I love how CLEAR it is about what it is we need to do to obtain salvation. I love how it perfectly spells out the commandments and what it is that will bring us ETERNAL happiness. I love how it teaches me more about Jesus Christ. Because the more I learn about Him, the closer I become. Jesus Christ is a friend. And the more you learn about the friend the closer you get, right? Well the more I learn about Jesus Christ, and ask Him for help, and take His advice and apply His atoning blood in my life, the more and more I come closer to Him, to God, and to my true potential. All of those, being the key to happiness. 

I love being happy.
