TRANSFERS!!!!!!!!!!

MY MOM IS LEAVING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm SO sad guys! Seriously, it's heartbreaking! She's my best friend! BUT we're gonna live together in BYU-I and it's gonna be bomb! Only a few months and we'll be together again!

Anyhoo, me and my baby are staying together!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOOO! BUT, we're white-washing, AGAIN!!!! This is the 3rd transfer in a row that I've white-washed an area! And it's so bad! Cuz we have SO many appts this week we've already set up and we planned, SO many service activities for the members in the ward, SO many referrals we've been given that we need to follow through and follow up on, SO many less actives we were finally making progress on, SO many investigators we were finally introducing ourselves to, just....a lot.....but it's all good, I know the new sisters will do well and that things will get done :)

So.....fun story of the week.........a LONG story short.......On Tuesday this guy came in the visitors' center, after about a 1 minute conversation I casually asked his name (Tony) and then invited him to be baptized........then, after 3 minutes of perfect silence, he answered, "yes." To which I replied, "cool." Then, after about 2 minutes of more conversation and congratulating, I invited him to be baptized next Saturday.....30 second silence....."yes."

This was then followed by his friend, who is a member of the Bishopric in Omaha, Nebraska, calling and seeing how he was doing, and Tony telling him he was going to be baptized next Saturday (the phone was on speaker) more silence....."congratulations.........DON'T DO IT FOR ME!" To which he laughed and replied that he wasn't. But yeah, so now, this Saturday, after him coming to the VC every day and reading his Book of Mormon (he's now 1/2 way through) he's going to be baptized in Kaneohe....aka...not our zone.....aka.....we can't go see SO SAD!!!! So close but so far away!!! (40 minute drive is all) And it's even worse cuz we called him yesterday to see how church was and if everything was going well and he said that it was going ok, but that he'd been selfish all day. When we asked why, he said, "cuz I've been praying to Heavenly Father that he'd let you guys come to my baptism....."

My heart is seriously broken! BUT it's ok, but the point is that he gets baptized, not about us being there. And we're so excited for him to be baptized!

ANOTHER long story short, so there was this guy that had been coming to our ward for 3 weeks now and we had been teaching him like twice, but we called to schedule another appt to see him and he told us he had been praying to know when to be baptized and he said Heavenly Father very clearly told him "wait" and he said "but I don't know why I'd wait? Why should I wait?" To which we replied with the miracle that WE had been praying and WE felt like he should wait as well, we felt like he should wait until the semester is over so he can go home back to the Phillipines and be baptized there so his family could see. Because they're strong Catholics and we KNOW that his family being there at his Baptism, or at least being around when he chooses to make these covenants, will be instrumental in their conversion. :D So we told him that and now he's praying for a date after May 15th when he goes home! We're so excited for him! He's SO cool! He reminds me of David Archuleta, and when I told him that, he said David Archuleta was actually the one that inspired him to go into music and was influential in him being open to the idea of Mormonism when he met a Mormon at the mall in the Phillipines, which led him to finding out about BYU-H and other schools in Hawaii, which led him to applying, which led him to  getting a full-ride to HPU, which led him to hanging out and going to church in La'ie with his friends, which led him to meeting us! SO COOL!!!!

And last but not least, this girl that we were encouraging to go back to church is now filling out her papers!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!! She's going on a mission!!!!!! We're so stoked for her!!!

Just so many miracles this week I can't even begin to describe them all, especially on tram, oh my goodness, SO many elect! I've never invited to many people to be baptized in a week before. Even full pros we'd only get about 2 or 3 a day when we would go tracting. AH! SO COOL!!!

Oh, and a side note: I've discovered that I'm Narcoleptic..........everyone thought I was kidding......nope, turns out, I really am........there really IS an explanation for me falling asleep standing up, while eating and singing...........how do I know this? Because it turns out a girl in my ward has narcolepsy and she's the EXACT same as me. It seriously explains EVERYTHING! But am I gonna go see all the neurologists like she had to in order to officially label my problem with a doctors' signature/ No. Am I going to pay for the CHOKE expensive medicine that she used to use? No, instead, I'm just going to keep on, keeping on! And pull over when I get tired ;)

Anyhoo, it was an awesome week and I'm so grateful for the Lord's hand in my life!

I love you all so much! I hope you all have a bomb day! Work hard! Pray always!  Aloha!

love,
Sister Bradley
