Revelation from God

CONFERENCE WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, it's like a movie series that you're so sad to see end! The talks were amazing! I love conference! You wanna know why? Cuz we have access to 15 prophets, seers and revelators, telling us what we can do differently/keep doing, in order to be eternally happy WITH our families. How cool is that? Conference is a time, when you can ask ANY question you want to God and He'll answer with straight up words! Not just feelings/thoughts/impressions! And not only that, but He speaks to us through an additional 20+ representatives of Jesus Christ all giving us more advice on how to live happier lives. And these talks apply to MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD!!!! What other tv broadcast in the world touches the hearts of/invokes change in MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD!!!!??? Oh, that's right. I know. NOTHING!!!!! THE GOSPEL IS TRUE!!!!!!!!!!

Fact: I really do love Elder Holland's talk about the ability to BELIEVE, and how Heavenly Father has had to deal with imperfect people from the beginning and how it must have been very frustrating for Him and yet He still does it. This gives me a lot of hope as a missionary. Cuz I'm DEFINITELY imperfect. I'm NOT a good teacher. I DON'T know a lot about the scriptures. I still get thrown off with different questions at the Visitors' Center even after being her fro MONTHS. But that's ok, because I believe. And I believe that the Holy Ghost is an AMAZING teacher. So good in fact that it changes hearts! It brings salvation to souls! And because Heavenly Father trusts His imperfect children, I get to be the one to bring that special spirit to the homes of SOME of His children, MY brothers and sisters.

We got to go to the temple on Tuesday.......I LOVE the temple..........the peace there is irreplaceable

We also got to go to Pearl Harbor and clean the USS Missouri. I thought of my dad and figured he could tell me everything there is to know about it. On our way there we took a wrong turn and we ALMOST went on the naval base....I say almost because if I had been the lead car I WOULD have gone on base and thought nothing else of it because I would have just assumed that was the way to get to Pearl Harbor. Then I realized tourists don't all have military IDs (namely the sisters in the lead car) and so that COULDN'T have been the way to Pearl Harbor. I saw the BX from the gate. It made me miss home. Oddly enough, I miss being surrounded by a nice chain-link fence with barbed-wire facing out. I felt so safe on base. Anyhoo, aside from the Elders being so immature and rowdy, so much so that the lady kicked them downstairs because they were annoying all the tourists, (*facepalm, all my previous respect for elders has collapsed since being on my mission) it was a pretty good experience. We got a nice private tour all over the ship which apparently only people who paid $60 would get to see. And afterward, Sister Munoa, me, and Sister McKeever, and Elder Moosman got ice cream first because we were the only ones that actually cleaned for 2 hours and didn't start hitting each other with brooms and stuff :) Then again, I figured if I HAD participated in such acts my Dad would fly to Hawaii just to hang my toes from the ship's flagpole. SO.....I cleaned, and it was awesome :)

Anyhoo, I love you all!! And I hope everyone's doing well! Work hard! Pray always!

love,
Sister Bradley
