Fact: I'M GONNA BE A MOM!!!
Fact: This means I'm training ;)
BAM! That's right folks! As of right now my baby is in Honolulu chillin' with President Dalton and tomorrow I get to pick her up! WOOHOOOO!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!! And so nervous at the same time!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In addition to this new edition in my family I'll be switching pads to the Beach Pad AND be white-washing an area, ANNND this area includes a car........yes, why yes I AM freaking out! This is gonna be insane!!! I hope everything goes ok...I hope she likes me......I hope I'm a good trainer!!!!! I've all of the sudden become VERY aware of my bad habits in the last 36 hours and it's time for a change cuz I got to be a good example for her! Her name is SIs. Munoa, I think, and she's from Provo, UT, and rumor has it she's Russian-speaking! Honestly though I REALLY hope she speaks French, we've had SOOO many French speakers come in the Visitors' Center lately!
Anyhoo, I would quickly like to give a shout-out to Kristina Gessel because as of yesterday I received her letter from NOVEMBER!!! I'm SOOOO sorry!!!!!!!!! I SWEAR I never forgot you!!! Your letter arrived after I left for Maui and then the sisters never forwarded it to me! SORRY!!!!!!!!! But I still love you and I'm writing you back today!
So funny story of the week: It was my padmates's (Sis. Gamba) birthday on Friday so of COURSE I decorated. However, this did not come as easy as it usually does. I wasn't able to go to town to get streamers or balloons so I had to settle with whatever Foodland had. This meant the balloons that are used to make balloon animals.......now I thought, ok ok, I can make this work. I can blow them up and decorate with them. Folks, did you know you HAVE to have a hand pump to blow those things up? Yeah, I didn't. So at 11 at night, my companion and I were looking at each other like, "what do we do?" THAT is when prayer came in. And thanks to the WONDERFUL help of the savior's enabling atonement, I figured out that if I stuck my water bottle straw in my empty shampoo bottle and put the balloon over the straw, I could squeeze the shampoo bottle and it could blow it up! Did it take FOREVER? Yes. But did I succeed in blowing up all 20 balloons? YES! And GUESS WHAT?!?!?!?! My companion JUST so happens to know how to make balloon animals! How crazy is that?!?!?! SO, we had a wonderful line of lions, dogs, giraffe's, hearts, and snakes (I made the snakes) to greet the birthday girl when she awoke that morning. BAM!
Well, I'm now freaking out too much to remember what else I was going to write soooooo I guess I'll remember it later! LOVE YOU!!!!!!
love,
Sister Bradley
